Ara Mina is now very hands-on when it comes to running a business.
“I’m very hands-on with my business ventures. Ara’s Secret, my skin care line is doing very good. Marami akong resellers all over the country and even overseas.
“It’s good na maganda ang naging result ng Ara’s Secret, passion ko kasi talaga ang beauty! And I’m glad na nakapag-offer ako ng affordable and effective skin care line,” kuwento niya sa Push.com.ph
Recently, binuksan na rin ni Ara ang kanyang Hazelberry Café located along Mindanao Avenue.
Naging star-studded ang grand opening nito na dinaluhan ng mga kaibigan niya sa showbiz industry.
“Hazelberry actually started in 2012 after I finished a short culinary and pastry course. Na-challenge ako to formulate my own dessert and pastry recipes kasi I don’t have a sweet tooth.
“So, when people started buying my cakes and cookies online and during bazaars, and I would get super positive feedbacks, ginanahan ako lalo mag-bake,” balita niya.
Patuloy pa ni Ara, “I invested in baking appliances and it was worth it naman. Pumasok na ako dati sa food business, I actually had two establishments in the past.
“The difference back then was hindi ako masyadong naging hands-on. Importante talaga yun sa ganitong business.
“Now, I make sure that I’m actively involved from the planning stage to the purchasing, but of course, nagde-delegate din ako ng tasks to avoid burnout.”
May isang business pa ring gustong pasukin si Ara in the future. Pero hindi na raw ito food business.
“Another business venture that I am very excited about is Ara Shoes. May mga inaayos pa kami but it’s coming out real soon, and hopefully magkaroon ng second branch ang Hazelberry Café,” sey pa niya.
