Tourism Promotions Board employees file complaint against Cesar Montano

<img src='' alt='031317CesarMontano_PUSH.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>Employees of the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), an officeunder the Department of Tourism (DOT), filed a complaint against their chiefoperating officer Cesar Montano and submitted it to the Presidential ActionCenter (PACE).<o:p></o:p>In a <a href='http://news.abs-cbn.com/news/03/12/17/frustrated-tourism-employees-file-complaint-against-cesar-montano'>report</a>by ABS-CBN’s Primy Cane, the board listed 30 violations of the actor includingmismanaging the department’s funds and possible corruption. <o:p></o:p>In the letter, it also said that Cesar got intomultimillion-peso worth of contracts for holding concerts here and abroad,where he was also a guest performer. <o:p></o:p>It was also stated that he hired friends and relatives,whose roles are already the same with the incumbent TPB employees, making it redundant.<o:p></o:p>He is also said to have used the TPB’s funds for trips notrelated to his work. <o:p></o:p>Cesar, who is a staunch supporter of Pres. Rodrigo Duterteand was appointed to the post last December, has yet to speak about the issue.<o:p></o:p>

Cesar Montano was appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte as Tourism Promotions Board chief operating officer last December 2016.
