Gary Valenciano on Sam Concepcion: ‘He’s a good boy’

021417-GaryValencianol_PUSH.jpgOn Tonight with Boy Abunda, Gary Valenciano was asked pointedly, “boto ka ba kay Sam Concepcion?” There have been rumors that Sam is dating Gary’s daughter Kiana Valenciano.

Gary said, “I knew him since he was this small, ever since that time I liked him. E lumaki tapos nagpatunay sa akin na he really is an incredibly talented young man and I think that the best of Sam Concepcion is yet to be seen by the public. And then he got to know Kiana because magkasama si Sam and Paolo (Valenciano, Gary’s son) doing a musical together, that Kiana and I always used to watch. So parang they grew up together. So okay lang and Sam is from a good family, I know his parents. He’s a good boy.”

On Fast Talk, Gary revealed his childhood crush was “Sharon Cuneta.”

Asked, “how did you feel about Gab and Tricia’s separation,” Gary said, “like both of them felt. Brokenhearted.” Asked to give a “piece of advice for Gab before he enters a new relationship.” Gary said, “find your peace in God son. That’s the only time you’ll know what to do, when to do it, and with whom.”

Asked for one quality that a husband should have, Gary says, “a heart that contains unconditional love and not just love.” The greatest love story of all time for Gary is, “my wife loving me.”

On the question, “if you were single when you were filming Hataw Na, liligawan mo ba si Dayanara Torres.” Gary answered, “If I was younger, maybe.”

Asked, “kung kasalanan ka, ano ka? Gary said, “yung impatient.”

On the question, “gaano ka kadalas mangalabit?” Gary said, “maybe not as often as I should, but maybe I can go more than other people can.”
