Columnist Dolly Anne Carvajal shared the actor's reaction to Diego's posts on social media.
After Diego Loyzaga lambasted his father Cesar Montano on social media, the latter expressed through Inquirer columnist Dolly Anne Carvajal that he was just being a concerned father to his son.
“Even if my late dad never pampered me and didn’t buy me material gifts because we were poor, I am still thankful to him. I never lambasted him for the tough life we had. Our struggles made me learn the value of hard work,” Cesar told Dolly Anne.
Dolly Anne also recalled that Cesar once granted Diego’s wish and that is to have his own car. She also said that for Cesar, Diego should’ve finished his studies first before entering showbiz but his son said he really wanted to become an actor just like him. He also came to his defense when Diego got involved in an altercation in Taguig.
Diego called Cesar a hypocrite on social media last February 8 and claimed that he was getting kicked out of the house Cesar gave to him. He also said that he got tested for illegal drugs five times and even if all of the results indicated that he’s drug-free, Cesar wouldn’t believe it.
