Jameson Blake says he was very close to the late Hashtag member.
Jameson Blake admitted that it was difficult for him to move on from what happened to late Hashtag member Franco Hernandez because he was his close friend. “It took me a while like siguro a week or two. Well we have to move on after what happened, [pero] medyo nahirapan ako,” he said in an interview at the press conference of Haunted Forest.
Jameson relayed that he shared a lot of good moments with Franco. ”We were really close like we go out together, eat, watch movies, gimik minsan, ganon. So ‘yun parang we almost have the same personality. It’s like I’m looking at the mirror na makulit siya, makulit din ako pag kasama ko siya so we got along very well. And it was actually the first time for me to experience losing a friend so it had a big impact on me so when I heard about the news so it took a while to move on,” he stated.
Asked how he managed to move on from the despair that he felt, he replied, “Well it was just in the mindset. I just had to think positive and just I think as a group (referring to Hashtags), we became stronger as a group and everything we are doing parang ganon. Kasi parang I kind of felt it brought us closer kasi we all felt that we had the same state of mind when that happened,” he said.
Franco’s death has been surrounded by controversy after different stories of how he died emerged. A lot of netizens have expressed their opinions about the matter to which Jameson remarked that it is better not to talk about the controversies anymore.
“I think it’s better to let him rest and peace na lang kasi his parents said Franco doesn’t like complications so I think it’s better not to build more complications with this issue di ba? So parang just keep quiet na lang,” he stated.
