Kisses Delavin is finally getting into the teleserye scene this coming 2018.

The teen star is set to be part of the upcoming soap Playhouse starring Angelica Panganiban and Zanjoe Marudo. Kisses, is set to take on the role of Zanjoe’s little sister in the light romance-drama series.

“Kasi may soap ako yung kay Kuya Piolo. Kapatid ako dapat ni Kuya Alex, nawala yun sakin kasi nabuwag ang love team. So inilipat ako sa isang soap and hindi ko alam na ito pala yun. So I feel really happy,” shared Kisses during the recent look test for the teleserye as to how she got the role.

According to her, the show was created to remind people how good it is to have a family and to be in love.

The upcoming 2018 is set to gear towards acting, according to Kisses. She believes this is a good thing because, after all, she is more comfortable acting.

It may be recalled that after being part of the trending love team formerly known as KissMarc together with Marco Gallo, the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate is now a solo actress.

“As a solo artist ngayon I feel like I’m more determined kasi mahirap pag solo ka ngayon eh kasi limited ang projects mo kasi mostly, lahat ng projects naka-bundle kayo as love team. Pero I’m taking it as a challenge na kahit solo ang craft ko I can do so much better,” she said.

Kisses underscores that everything really is just about perspectives.

“Ngayon para akong sponge na lahat ng nakakasama ko, I absorb learnings from them. Lagi akong nakikinig kanila Kuya Z at kanila Ate Angge. Very professional sila and ang dami kong natututunan,” she said.

The “Di Ko Lang Masabi” singer also pointed out that she feels very free and happy at the moment.

“I feel like I’m on the right track. Kasi karamihan ng love team ang bilis ng angat kaya mahirap rin. Kaya I feel that better na yung slow kang pumupunta sa kung saan mo gusto kesa yung sobrang bilis pero hindi tama ang direction mo,” explained Kisses.

She ended, “I’m more of the direction than the speed.”
