A legal investigation is not an option for the family of late Hashtag member Franco Hernandez. In an interview with entertainment site PEP, Franco’s father Raul Lumanlan remarked that their sole purpose for speaking up is to share what transpired during the incident and that their camp will not be pursuing any legal investigation over the death of the late Hashtag member.
“Basta ang purpose kasi namin, we want to stick to our objective. Ang objective lang namin is to tell what really happened. Now, kung anuman ang imbestigasyon o anuman ang etcetera, ayaw na namin dumating sa punto na ‘yun,” Raul said in the interview.
He added that they believed Franco would want the same. "Si Franco, kilala namin ‘yan. Ayaw niya ng kumplikasyon. Ayaw niya ng magulo. Gusto niya, kung ano yung nangyari, ‘yan na ‘yan. Basta ipaalam mo lang kung ano yung totoong nangyari. Kung anuman ang puwedeng mangyari after, hindi na namin i-initiate yun or what," he said.
The parents were interviewed alongside the Franco’s girlfriend Janica Nam Floresca who contradicted the earlier statements of Hashtag member Tom Doromal and the two bangkeros Rico Igalan and Efren Kilang about the incident.
