Angelica Panganiban embraces singlehood

Angelica Panganiban doesn’t see herself getting into a relationship anytime soon.This was the actress’ confession during an interview at the look test and story conference of er upcoming soap with Zanjoe Marudo titled Playhouse.“Kapag may name-meet ako talagang barkada yung nagiging approach ko. Wala akong nakikita na, ngayon ah, wala akong nakikitang sparks sa kahit na sino,” she said.Angelica presumes that her current state could’ve been influenced by her past experiences.“Kasi sobrang tagal kong naging in a relationship and ngayon ko lang siguro na-e-enjoy na talaga na maging mag-isa,” she said.But this is not to say that Angelica didn’t go through the tough part of moving on.“Diba after non [break up] iiyak ka, then kapag nag-decide ka na ‘Hindi na tama na!’ Doon palang papasok yung ‘Oh okay pala ah,’” she said.It was March 2016 when John Lloyd Cruz confirmed his split with Angelica.Meanwhile Angelica is embracing her singlehood by trying new things in life.Most recently, the actress spent a much-needed rest and relaxation in Siargao. Alam mo nung nakatayo nga ako sa surf board, sa sobrang saya ko talagang tumalon ako ng surf board kasi ang saya talaga kasi. Tapos biglang nag-sink in na sakin ang ginawa ko the whole year. Tapos napa-text talaga ako sa ibang friends ko and ang sabi ko ‘Grabe yung nangyari sakin this year,’” she answered.Up to this moment, Angelica still couldn’t wrap her head about the many personal goals that she was able to tick off this year.“Umakyat ako ng bundok, nakita ko ang Mount Everest, nakanood ako ng mga concerts ng gusto kong artists, napanood ko si Adele ang Coldplay. Parang ano pa ang gagawin ko, parang sobrang happy na ako. Ang dami dami kong nagawa within a year,” she ended.
