EXCLUSIVE: Amy Perez admits she’s proud to be a ‘Certified Tita of Manila’

As one of the country’s favorite hosts on noontime television, Amy Perez said there is nothing she wants more for next year except to continue to host more shows. “My goals are to still have the same work, the same opportunity na mapasaya yung mga tao in Showtime, in Umagang Kay Ganda, and in Sakto. Yun yung pinaka-importante sa lahat eh parang ayaw mo ng mag-wish ng any material things kung di good health lang ng family,” she told PUSH.

After almost three decades in showbiz, Amy said she has only one beauty secret. So yun talaga. Sobrang thankful and sobrang grateful ko because I’ve been in this business for 30 years now. So thankful ako na the fans are talagang always there and so good. So sobrang thankful lang talaga ako,” she explained.

When she has free time, Amy said she enjoys being part of the popular Facebook group Certified Titos and Titas of Manila. “Nakakatuwa nga pag pinag-uusapan nila yung Palibhasa Lalake eh (laughs). Active ako dun,” she shared.

For the holidays “Tiang Amy” said she enjoys cooking up an eight-course feast for her loved ones every year. “I cook siguro mga walong putahe, ako lahat yun. And then pag-New Year sa in-laws ko naman para hating-hati walang selosan,” she said.

Amy said her Christmas wish list this year is very simple. “Siguro number one na wish ko yung meron akong hinihiling na wish sa asawa ko eh na parang watch, something like that. Two yung maka-travel na kami finally sa Europe together na mag-asawa and three na makapag-U.S kami na buong family,” she added.
