The official trailer for Vice Ganda, Daniel Padilla and Pia Wurtzbach’s film Gandarrapido: The Revengers Squad was released and it showed a scene where Vice spoofed Kris Aquino. Vice is one of Kris’ close friends in showbiz.In an interview with PEP (<a href='https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CxyUxAofkTw'>Why Kris Aquino refused cameo in Vice Ganda's movie</a>), Kris admitted that she hasn’t seen the trailer yet but she is flattered that someone as famous as Vice still ‘mimics’ her.“Of course it’s always flattering na somebody as famous as Vice is still mimicking me so thanks,” she said.“I guess I could reveal it, they actually asked me to do a cameo but it was a kontrabida [role] so sabi ko ‘Ayoko kaya maging kontrabida.’ Sabi ko ‘Marami akong brands na magagalit kung magkontrabida ako.’ I would’ve love to do it but sabi ko ‘Bakit ayaw niyo akong maging mabait?’” she said while laughing.She then shared that she would do two movies next year.“One is a commitment with iflix, I think it’s safe to say I could say that that one kasi is a horror and then the other movie it’s a first for me because it’s with… I think I could reveal the director because it’s gonna be written and directed by Chris Martinez,” she said.“Medyo ano siya hindi dark comedy, hindi rin siya drama basta it’s something that I’ve actually never done,” she added.Kris directed various blockbuster comedy themed films such as Here Comes the Bride, The Gifted and Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 2: Forever is Not Enough. He was also the writer of Sukob.
