Aiza Seguerra is now Ice Seguerra.
The singer took to his Instagram account to share how he wants to be addressed from here on out by his friends and colleagues.
On Wednesday afternoon, December 20, Ice schooled his followers on what a transgender person is.
“Ibig sabihin, pinanganak man akong may vagina, I identify myself as a man. Gets? TRANSMAN po yun,” he said.
The “Pagdating ng Panahon” singer, who already came out some three years ago, opted to come out anew for one good reason.
“This is just a reminder. PLEASE REFRAIN from calling me ATE, TITA, SIS, NINANG (mga inaanak, subukan niyong tawagin akong ninang, I swear wala kayong regalo sa pasko), SENYORA, MA'AM, at ang favorite ko sa lahat MADAME. Huwag din po gamitin ang she, her, at kung ano pa,” he explained.
The actor-singer is married to Film Development Council of the Philippines chairman Liza Diño.
“This is how I see myself and I would appreciate if people around me, especially family and friends, will respect that. If you do not understand kung ano ang transman, PM me and I will gladly explain,” he said.
Finally, the former Be Careful With My Heart star finally underscored how he should be called these days.
“Also, please CALL ME ICE. Yes. ICE,” he wrote.
