Sue Ramirez on first kissing scene with Arjo Atayde: ‘Walang awkwardness’

Sue Ramirez’s kissing scene with Arjo Atayde in the hit soap Hanggang Saan trended online. The actress remarked that though it was her first kissing scene on TV, it was not awkward at all.

“Thankful ako kay Arjo dahil hindi niya ginawang mahirap for me. It’s my first ever onscreen kissing scene so I am thankful to him na walang awkwardness, very comfortable kami and alam namin na work talaga so hindi siya naging gano’n kahirap gawin,” she said.

When asked about what she thinks is the secret as to why her team-up with Arjo works, she replied, “Kailangan kasi siguro pag-umaarte maganda ‘yung working relationship niyo as partners and me and Arjo have very good working relationship. As in friends kami so madali na sa amin komonek sa isa’t isa sa mga eksena,” she stated.

Aside from her teleserye, Sue is also thankful for her upcoming movie called Ang Babaeng Allergic sa Wifi which is slated to be released next year. They already shot scenes for the teaser of the movie, which was released online recently. Sue relayed that she accepted the project because she always wanted to work with director Jun Lana.

“It is direk Jun’s... ang tawag niya do’n passion project so siya ‘yung tipong na pelikula, art talaga so ako sobrang interested ako na maka-work si Jun Lana, of course, and siyempre si Jameson (Blake) and Jerome (Ponce), that made me say yes to the project. Ang ganda no’ng kwento plus something na relatable siya sa panahon ngayon. How would you connect with people without the wifi and without the internet or without cellphones, without gadgets, without anything? Go back to basics. Parang ang ganda ng kwento talaga,” she stated.
