Liza Soberano is thankful for the positive feedback that her upcoming serye Bagani has received after it was launched at the recent trade event of ABS-CBN.
“Sobrang natuwa ako sa reaction ng mga tao. Naramdaman ko na na-miss nila kami ni Quen (Enrique Gil) sa TV and I am really excited for the show kasi sobrang iba ‘to sa nagawa namin so far kasi lagi naman kaming rom-com or romance drama. Ito naman may action siya to it and I am excited for people to view it because it’s something refreshing. It’s something for the children. It’s something for people of all ages,” she said.
Bagani is going to be an action-fantasy series, which is far from the type of projects she did before. Asked if she ever dreamed of headlining a fantasy project when she was younger, she replied, “When I was young, I never really thought about it which role I want to pursue but now I am doing it happy ako. Masaya pala siyang gawin kasi hindi siya ganon kahirap gawin.
“In terms of costume and everything yes mahirap siya, but like acting wise I guess there’s a little bit of… parang we have an inner child in all of us that comes out when you are doing a fantaserye and you become more imaginative and you are able to bring that out and express that when you are acting in a fantaserye soap,” she stated.
With such an action-packed series, how did she prepare for her role in the serye? “We did we have Wushu trainings before we started taping for it and basically don mismo the stunt trainers would teach us how to do the stunts,” she shared
