Karylle also talks about what she is looking forward to this coming holiday season.
With Anne Curtis’s overseas wedding rumored to be happening in a few days, her It’s Showtime co-host Karylle said she wants nothing but good things for her friend and co-worker. “You know Anne is one of the sweetest, most hardworking, most fun-loving people you’ll ever meet and I’m just so happy that I’ve gotten to know her this much,” she shared during the Christmas Tree lighting event at City of Dreams in Manila last November 8.
Karylle said Anne has always been helpful to her from the start of their friendship. “One of my first memories of her, nasa Cebu kami, naka-laptop yan, wala pang Twitter back then, it was Pinoy Exchange I remember and ganun lang, I would just see her from afar and now parang even though she’s younger than me may mga guidance ako (from her) online, may mga ‘You have to be on Instagram,’ mga ganyan,” she said. When asked to confirm in Anne was tying the knot soon, Karylle would neither confirm nor deny the report. “This weekend? Hindi ko alam.”
As one of the celebrity guests at the City of Dreams event, Karylle said she has always been a fan of the yuletide season. “Alam niyo pagdating talaga ng pasko very close to my heart bilang isang Tatlonghari (Karylle’s surname). Hindi ko linayo yung sarili ko sa pangalan ko na meron tayong mga maliligayang araw at ganito talaga yung pasko,” she shared.
Apart from celebrating the holidays, Karylle said she is preparing for the annual gift-giving event at one of the charities she supports in Manila. “Gift giving malapit na, please come to Child Haus. Hindi naman sa panata (ko ito). May time ako na nag-struggle ako nung yung paborito ko namatay. Her name was Blessie and for a while nahirapan ako, yung parang I didn’t put my whole heart in it but you know dahil pedia cancer patients yung karamihan sa kanila they can tell when you’re being fake or hindi mo binigay yung buong puso mo. So once ibigay mo talaga they will open their arms to you. They’re having the time of their life and kami rin namang mga ate at kuya,” she explained.
