One journey has ended for Rachel Peters.
But for our Miss Universe bet, she hopes another one would start soon.
In an interview with Push, Rachel revealed what she would focus on after the Miss Universe competition.
One career path she is interested in taking would be TV hosting.
“I think the direction that I will go will be hosting, maybe not acting. I’ll give it a try if there’s an opportunity, why not?” Rachel disclosed.
As for her main goal, she was quite emphatic and sure. “And eventually have a family, that’s the main goal,” she declared.
She had been in a long, serious relationship with Camarines Sur governor Migz Villafuerte who closely and avidly supported Rachel in her Miss Universe bid.
For now, however, the 26-year-old beauty queen has expressed her thanks to all those who supported her.
“Thank you for a truly amazing experience,” she stressed in an Instagram post before the pageant night.
“I've learnt so much about myself these last few days and have made many wonderful friends that no matter what happens tomorrow, I already feel like a winner!”
“It's been such an honor to wear THE sash and to represent you. You've all been incredible (it blows my mind) and you've all done you're part.. now it's time for me to do mine! MAHAL KO PO KAYONG LAHAT (sic).”
