Darren Espanto wants to celebrate Christmas with a Pinoy tradition.
Having grown up in Canada, Darren Espanto admitted that he has never had the chance to go caroling in the streets. While the "7 Minutes" hitmaker has spent a few Christmas holidays in the country, it was only during school events and yuletide celebrations that he was able to sing Christmas carols.
"'Yung mga nagcacaroling po sa bahay, hindi po. I've experienced doing caroling hanggang school assemblies, ganun po. For the holidays, ganun. Pero never pa po sa mga bahay," the "Pasko Na" singer revealed.
Asked if he is willing to try the traditional way of caroling in the country, he said: "Yeah, I think that would be fun. Sana ho hindi po sila mang-snub pag ako po 'yung nagcaroling. Sana po magustuhan po nila."
Meanwhile, Darren Espanto just released a limited edition Christmas album that features a 60-page photo booklet. D's Christmas, which contains eight Christmas tunes, includes his self-penned ode to his family "Pasko Na".
