K-pop star Rain’s canceled concert was supposed to be his first show in the country after seven years.
Korean pop star Rain was scheduled to perform for his Filipino fans this Friday, November 3, but the singer-actor decided to cancel his appearance after finding out that one of the organizers was “dishonest” in their contract obligations.
In a statement posted on Rain’s official website, his group also urged the fans to refund their ticket.
“As the organizer; KO- Ph. has been dishonest in fulfilling the performance contract, we have come to the decision that it is impossible to go ahead with the performance. Our decision is therefore ‘not to participate in the performance.’
“We hope to have the understanding of our fans, and we will pay more attention and do our best to avoid such happenings in the future.”
Rain’s Rise 2 Shine Benefit Concert was supposed to be his comeback concert in the Philippines after seven years.
