“Kahit ako rin naman, namimiss ko rin naman siya,” he said.
Joshua Garcia was announced a part of Krem-Top’s new “barkada” alongside Inigo Pascual, Yassi Pressman and Ronnie Alonte on a press conference on Thursday, November 9.
As the coffee creamer brand also announced their singing competition, which was joined by musicians and songwriters nationwide, Joshua was asked about the song he would like to compose and dedicate to his rumored girlfriend Julia Barretto.
“I think, it’s either ‘Ikaw Lang’ or ‘You’re Beautiful,’ pwede na,” the actor said.
“’Yun na po ‘yun. Kung ano po ‘yung title,” he added, explaining why he picked them.
Later, while talking to some members of the press, Joshua was asked for his reaction regarding Julia’s Instagram post that she captioned, “Wish you were here.” When he asked who she was referring to, Julia replied, “You.”
Admitting that he also missed her, he said, “Kahit ako rin naman, namimiss ko rin naman siya. ‘Yung presence niya. Syempre, nagkakasama kami sa shooting.”
Explaining why he did not go with Julia to South Korea, he said that she was there for a hosting job with her mother Marjorie Barretto.
The lead actor of ‘The Good Son’ also revealed future travel plans with Julia.
“Gusto ko mag New York… May usapan na kami ‘nun na ‘pag ka naka-tatlo kaming endorsements (this year) na magkasama, ayun mag-nu-New York kami. Parang bakasyon lang. Pero syempre, may chaperone siya.”
“New York, kasi parang gusto niya akong i-tour ‘dun kasi nakapunta na siya. Ako naman, hindi pa ako nakapunta sa New York, eh.”
How is their relationship now?
Joshua, who is courting the actress, answered, “Status as of now, gano’n pa rin. Kasi sinabi ko naman po na hindi namin talaga minamadali ‘yung mga bagay bagay. Kasi lalo na ako, ang dami kong priorities. Sa pamilya ko, sa ate ko, sa papa ko. Tapos si Julia naman, priority niya ‘yung bahay niya. Ayaw namin masayang na lang basta.”
