Aga Muhlach will be back on the silver screen with the upcoming Star Cinema film Seven Sundays. The actor relayed that this movie is way different from his previous projects.
“‘Yung film mismo is a good warm-up vehicle for me because it’s not the [usual] love stories I would do or heavy drama but you know marami akong kasama, parang ‘yung load was easier for me because there was Enrique Gil here, Dingdong Dantes and tito Ronaldo (Valdez) and Cristine Reyes,” he said.
Aga, who took a hiatus from showbiz for six years, believed that this was the right project for a comeback.
“Parang every year I would just wait for the right time or the right project, parang hindi tumutugma every time Star (Cinema) would call or Viva or ganyan, and finally this project came along and this was offered sa akin sabi ko parang feeling ko ito ‘yun at hindi ako nagkamali nga. You know pwede kong sabihin I’m proud of this film, not promoting dahil lang may pelikula but really watch this film,” he stated.
The actor was also asked about his twins who are now gaining a following on social media. Will he allow them to join showbiz?
“Tungkol naman sa pagpayag, hindi naman sa pagpayag. Parang sa akin naman, there’s nothing wrong if they really want to be in the entertainment industry. It’s just that they are busy with school so right now I just really want them to finish their studies. I’m not saying this because para masabi ko lang but tapusin muna nila and then I will let them decide,” he said.
