<div> </div><div>Jay Nelson Corbita made his family proud, most especially his father, after topping the mechanical engineering licensure examination.</div><div> </div><div>According to ABS-CBN News, Jay's father Nelson worked as a grade school janitor and had to retire early to use his retirement pay for the education of his kids. </div><div> </div><div>“I felt pressured while taking the exam because I know other people expected me to top it. But I told myself that even if I will not top the exam, at least I knew I did my best to pass it,” Jay stated.</div><div> </div><div>Jay garnered a rating of 92.20 percent in the board exam. He graduated summa cum laude from Xavier University in Cagayan de Oro City. </div><div> </div>
