The former Voice contestants reveal that MCA Music Inc. is cooking up something big for the three of them.
After Chan Millanes, Franz Dacanay, and Mikee Escutin performed for their fans at The Voice Teens' album launch, the event host popped an exciting question for supporters of the three boys. Asked if they wanted to see the talented teens form a boy group, their fans answered “yes” in unison.
In an exclusive interview with PUSH backstage, the boys shared how happy they are to become branded as the next boy group who will dominate the local music scene in the future.
"To be branded as a boy band parang 'di po siya pangkaraniwan na feeling na parang ma-brand with two awesome guys. And we're really close friends po tsaka nakakatuwa po talaga," Chan said.
"So far sobrang magagandang opportunities na lang po ang nabibigay nila sa akin. One of those opportunities po ay 'yung pagsama sa akin sa isang boy band na naman na kabilang sa aking dalawang best friends sa The Voice. Kaya sobrang thankful po," Mike added.
While they didn't reveal any details, Franz said that record label MCA Music Inc. is in talks with them and is cooking up something big for their fans.
Teasing fans about the possible plans of MCA Music Inc. for them, Franz said: "I think niluluto pa po ng MCA. Uh bale parang it's still very ... ina-arrange pa. Who knows baka next year or what kasi sobrang winelcome po kami ng MCA Music. We feel really blessed po talaga na MCA wanted us to be part of their family."
