Kim Chiu explains how being star struck by her co-star affected her work.
Kim Chiu unabashedly shared that she got star struck over one actress while they were working on their newest horror film.
Kim, in an interview during her solo blogger’s conference for The Ghost Bride, shared that she wasn’t able to speak during her first scene with Alice Dixson in the film.
“Tumiklop talaga ako!" she said.
It was only their director Chito Roño’s comment that made her snap out of her fangirling moment.
“Parang kinausap pa ako ni Direk Chito na, 'Kim, ano na? Kinakain ka na niya!'” she said quoting Direk Chito.
Kim described the moment as “Kasi nakatingin lang akong ganyan, hindi na ako umaarte!”
The Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin star admitted that she was amazed upon seeing the famous ‘90s actress.
"So parang sobra akong na-a-amaze na na-mesmerize na hindi na ako nakapag-focus sa character ko. May ganun palang moment, ang tagal-tagal mo na siyang pinapanuod, pumunta siya sa Amerika, nawala siya, tapos ngayon, nasa harap mo na, magka-eksena na kayo sa pelikula,” she exclaimed.
She had to remind herself that was actually working and not just watching the 50-year-old star.
"Sandali lang, 'Uy Kim, gising!' Yung first scene namin, nahirapan talaga ako. Nakatitig lang ako sa mukha niya kasi ang ganda-ganda niya, kahit binago yung hugis ng kilay niya, naging pataas na, maganda pa rin siya kahit ganon na yung accent niya!” she said.
Kim wasn’t able to hold back her amazement that Alice is still a good actress despite taking a break from the business.
Apart from Alice, Kim also worked with Ina Raymundo, Isay Alvarez, Robert Sena, Mon Confiado, and Beverly Salviejo, as well as her leading men Matteo Guidicelli and Christian Bables on the upcoming All Saint’s Day horror flick The Ghost Bride.
