Coco Martin reveals his gifts to legendary artist Whang-Od

As the favorite actor of 100-year-old tattoo artist Whang,-Od, Coco Martin admitted he was humbled when they met earlier this month when she was flown in for an exhibit.

The actor revealed he actually had plans to visit Whang-Od in the Kalinga province when he found out she was his avid fan.

Despite the artist's advanced age, Coco was impressed by her energy during their meeting.

Whang-od was accompanied by her niece who helped translate during their talk. Pero nakakatuwa kasi sobrang bait niya eh," he recalled.

Even though he is a fan of the internarionally known tattoo artist, Coco admitted he has yet to have his first tattoo done, hopefully by Whang-Od in the near future.

When asked to comment regarding the recent controversy surrounding Whang-Od's visit to Manila, Coco said they have not been in contact after their short meeting. Sobrang naging busy." True to his reputation of being a generous and kind-hearted celebrity, Coco made sure Whang-Od's visit would be a memorable one and even surprised her with a parting gift.
