Yong Muhajil talks about following in the path of his acting idol John Lloyd Cruz.
After being hailed last year as Pinoy Big Brother’s Lucky 7 season's third Lucky Big Placer, Yong Muhajil said he has been happy doing workshops and preparing for any projects that might come his way in the near future. “Okay naman ako. Masaya naman ako always. Good vibes lang. Siguro bibigyan din kami ng workshops ulit,” he shared during the launch of Merrell footwear’s Nature’s Gym campaign in Pasig city.
The 17-year-old teen said although he is still waiting for a teleserye project to come along, he has been busy doing mall shows in different parts of the country.
While attending workshops under Star Magic, Yong said he was impressed with his mentor and teacher director Rahyan Carlos. “Sobrang galing niya promise. Sobrang galing,” he said.
Even though he is not in touch any more with his PBB batchmates Maymay Entrata, Edward Barber, and Kisses Delavin, the former “Pag-A-Son ng Angkan ng Zamboanga” said he has developed a closer bond with another co-housemate Christian Morones. Same pa naman kaming galing Zamboanga. Gusto ko pa naman yung magkabati na. Parang close na kami kasi same kami ng province. May pagka-Chabacano lang siya kasi Muslim ako kaya ayun,” he explained.
