Following the announcement that Ed Sheeran had a bicycle accident that got his wrist fractured, his team gave an update regarding the Asian leg of his world tour.

According to a statement posted on the singer’s social media account, his concert in Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong will not go as planned.

“A visit to my doctors confirmed fractures in my right wrist and left elbow that will leave me unable to perform live concerts for the immediate future. Sadly, this means that the following shows will not be able to go ahead as planned: Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong. I’m waiting to see how the healing progresses before we have to decide on shows beyond that. Please stay tuned for more details. PS - Ed isn’t typing this as he has both arms casted/bandaged.”

He was supposed to perform in Taipei, Taiwan on October 22, Osaka, Japan on October 25, Seoul, South Korea on October 29 then back to Tokyo, Japan on October 31 and November 1.

Ed is set to come back to Manila this November 7 at the Mall Of Asia Concert Grounds.
