Celebrities react to MMFF film ‘Oro’ dog slaughter case

010517-CelebrityReaction_PUSH.jpgWith the investigation still ongoing regarding the complaint filed by the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) against the producer and director of the Metro Manila Film Fest entry Oro, many celebrities have taken to social media to show their support and outrage over the controversial dog slaughter scene which showed an animal being put in a sack, beaten to death, skinned, and gutted.

Some celebs like Anne Curtis, Kathryn Bernardo, Bela Padilla, Heart Evangelista, Raikko Matteo, and PAWS celebrity ambassador Daniel Matsunaga have expressed their sentiments by commenting on the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) page and/or posting on their own social media accounts.
