Melai Cantiveros gives an update on her delicate pregnancy

020117-MelaiCantiveros_PUSH.jpgMagandang Buhay host Melai Cantiveros has many things to be thankful for this 2017.

Aside from renewing her contract with ABS-CBN last Monday, January 30, the pregnant comedienne said that her baby is now getting stronger considering that she was has placenta previa, a condition where the placenta is unusually low.

“Okay naman. Medyo nagdelikado di ba, ‘nung mga last year. But then again kailangan mo talagang sumunod sa doctor. Mga anong papainom, inumin mo lang. Ngayon parang getting stronger na si baby with the help of the momshies (fellow hosts Karla Estrada and Jolina Magdangal) din kasi nagtatrabaho rin ako. Tinutulungan nila ako everyday na mapagaan ang trabaho,” she said.

Melai, who is six months and two weeks pregnant, added, “Medyo maselan pa rin kung hindi ka mag-iingat. Siyempre ‘wag kang mag-skipping rope.

Expecting her second daughter with husband Jason Francisco, Melai also shared how their first-born Mela is coping with the pregnancy. According to her, Mela does not want to be addressed as “baby” anymore as she prefers to be called, “ate.”
