The singer is set to do another musical in London by the end of the year.
Philippine pride, singer Rachelle Ann Go is chosen to star in the West End production of Lin-Manuel Miranda's "Hamilton." The American musical was first staged in Broadway in 2015 and will be playing in West End for the first time this 2017.
Rehearsals for "Hamilton" is reportedly set on September and will have previews by November 21. The musical will officially open on December 7.
According to Broadway.com, there is still no news on whether this will affect Rachelle Ann's reprisal of her role in "Miss Saigon" on Broadway.
The former pop star's international musical career first began in 2014 after she was cast as Gigi Van Trang in Miss Saigon's revival in London. In 2015, she was then cast in the 30th anniversary staging of "Les Miserables," where she played the role of Fantine,
"Hamilton" is about the life of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. In 2016, "Hamilton" won 11 out of 16 Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical.
