After K-pop group 2NE1 said their final farewell last January 21, with the release of the single “Goodbye,” looks like another girl band is following suit.
JYP Entertainment released a statement and a surprise video of the Wonder Girls announcing their disbandment today, January 26.
The Wonder Girls, who rose to international fame with the song “Nobody,” were already rumored to be splitting up since their contracts with their management will be expiring soon. However, JYP said things were still under negotiation last January 12.
