Some netizens commented on Yassi Pressman’s social media accounts to defend Nadine but the Till I Met You star said she doesn’t need saving.
James Reid and Nadine Lustre’s appearance on the latest episode of Gandang Gabi Vice
was a hot topic on Twitter. The two shared their love story and admitted that they both knew that they’re already in love after they shot scenes in San Francisco for their first TV series On the Wings of Love
. James said he already felt that Nadine had feelings for him before they went abroad.
“I had a feeling yes, although she denies that she had any feelings at all but I kind of knew… Actually from the start I thought she had something for me, kasi may nagsabi sa ‘kin,” James said.
Nadine further explained the story and said, “Feeling ko kilala ko na nagsabi sa kanya… si Yassi (Pressman) nagku-kwento ako sa kanya dati ‘Parang may weird akong nararamdaman sa kanya’ sabi niya ‘Hindi girl baka kasi palagi kayo magkasama tapos yung mga scenes niyo palagi dapat sweet.’”
Although most of the fans gushed about their love story, some were still skeptical about it and some also chose to attack Yassi for telling James how Nadine felt before.
Nadine came to her best friend’s defense and told bashers they should not hurt people close to her heart. Although she didn’t mention Yassi or James, she wrote a cryptic message on Twitter.
“Stop feeling ‘HURT’ for me. It’s not even an issue. Seriously. Please don’t,” she wrote.
