JK Labajo responds to comparisons between himself and Darren Espanto

Both teenswere products of the singing contest, TheVoice Kids season 1.Talking to members of the entertainmentmedia during the press conference for his upcoming concert entitled One Voice, the 15-year-old said, “Theboth of us have our own things. Siya, meron po siyang mga kayang gawin na hindiko ho kayang gawin. Mayroon pong mga bagay na kaya kong gawin na hindi niya pothing.”According to JK, while he does acting (heappeared in defunct primetime shows PangakoSa’yo and Hawak Kamay), Darren isdoing very well with singing.“I really hate it when people compare uskasi parang it’s like comparing a stone to water. Two different things naparang hindi comparable at all,” he shared, adding that each of them arereceiving their own blessings.Saying that he and Darren are still friendswho treat each other like brothers until now, JK later said that he does notlike competing with anybody. “Personally, I don’t want to and I don’t need tocompete with him kasi hindi po ako gano’n klase na parang nakikipagpagalingan.I don’t have anything about competition… to anyone at all. Gusto ko, kung ano‘yung ibibigay sa’kin, masaya na ako ‘dun, kontento na ako ‘dun,” he said.Meanwhile, aside from his upcoming concertwith fellow The Voice of the Phillippinesalums Jason Dy and Klarisse de Guzman, JK, who recently became a <a href='www.pinoybigbrother.com'>Pinoy Big Brother</a> celebrityhousemate, said that he is working on his second album and an upcomingteleserye.<o:p></o:p>
