EXCLUSIVE: Is The Dawn interested in getting their songs into musical theater?

Given that people are receiving thesekind of musical plays well (Rak of Aegisran for 5 seasons), is The Dawn, who is celebrating their 30thanniversary this year, also interested to follow suit?Bassist Carlos Balcells told <a href='/'>PUSH.com.ph</a> that he ispersonally eyeing that kind of endeavor.“Funny you mention it kasi about two weeksago, I was just telling Jett (Pangan, the vocalist), you know why don’t we makea rock-o-logy of The Dawn? Parang gano’n. How our music evolved… I mean it’slike a histology lang…“You put together na the scene on thosedays, from the ‘80s which (were) coup-de-etat days to the ‘90s that we weretrying to emerge from the effects of Martial Law and all that. And then, thetransition na to the OFW migration and milenyo na, di ba? So, a lot of thingshave happened. The music reflects what goes on, whether it’s personal or itreflects the specific scene,” he said.
