Kim Chiu quashes rumored project with Gerald Anderson

092016-KimChiu_PUSH.jpgKim Chiu’s fans were abuzz over the weekend after rumors that she would be having a reunion project with former love team partner Gerald Anderson made rounds.

Kim was quick to clear up the rumor,s saying that there’s no truth to the reports that their tandem Kimerald was returning for a TV project.

Hindi ko nga po alam kung saan galing ‘yon eh. Kung sinu-sino na lang po, bina-bash na lang ako. Pero wala pa pong ganun,” she said in an interview after receiving her EdukCircle award.

Kim’s last TV project was The Story of Us where she starred together with Xian Lim.

As of the moment, Kim is part of the noontime show It’s Showtime.

The actress also shed light on rumors that she’s now a mainstay of the show.

Natutuwa din ako mag-'Showtime.' Hindi naman ako [mainstay] doon. Pang dagdag lang habang wala pa 'yung totoong host talaga. Natutuwa naman ako,” she said.

Her current stint on It’s Showtime was not Kim’s first as she has been doing it for a number of times already. According to Kim, she appreciates the fact that she can bring out her bubbly side on TV.

But then there are those who criticize Kim’s hosting skills.

Walang script so sorry medyo tatanga-tanga din minsan. Pero natatawa naman sila,” she said.

Kim even poked fun at those who are seemingly unsatisfied of her hosting. “Sabi ko my gosh napaghahalataan 'yung totoong IQ ko. Wala namang taong perfect. At least napapatawa ko sila, napapasaya ko sila.”

Since she’s enjoying the show, is she open to being part of the show for good?

“Siyempre oo pero gusto ko talaga umarte. Number one talaga 'yung acting, second 'yung hosting, dancing tapos last 'yung singing,” she ended.
