Despite not being in the limelight, Kris Aquino recently made headlines after speculations spread that she is transferring to GMA-7 and that she has signed a contract with Tony Tuviera, big boss at T.A.P.E. Inc., which is also affiliated with the Kapuso Network.
Speaking with ABS-CBN News and other reporters, Boy Abunda denied that he is no longer the manager of Kris.
Si Kris is not talking, si Tony is not talking, ABS-CBN is not saying anything. Why would I?" he said.
I'm not privy to many things. Sa palagay ko sila ay nag-usap-usap. How extensive were the discussions the dialogues hindi ko alam,” he added.
He clarified that he is still representing the Queen of all Media in her endorsements and that they’re still friends.
I still do her contracts, walang nababago. Nag-uusap pa din araw-araw.”
After more than two decades wit the Kapamilya network, Kris decided to take a break from showbiz last March to take care of her health. She also asked her followers to respect her decision.
