EXCLUSIVE: Andrea Del Rosario comments on celebrities and drug testing

It’s a big responsibility to take care of 52,000 lives, yung population namin sa Calatagan, but I’m happy kasi nga I have this opportunity to make a difference,” sabi ni Andrea.

“Kaya lang siyempre, you have to choose your roles.

“I still believe in the rule of law. I’m torn, but I’m happy that we are solving this issue kasi marami rin kaming horror stories, ang dad ko.

“Alam mo, ang drugs kasi walang pinipili, eh – mayaman, mahirap, bakla, tomboy, lahat – and everybody I’m sure, tama yung sinasabi ni Duterte na one of us are affiliated with the person who is also a victim of this. And unfortunately, yes, these people are also victims.

“Naalala ko pa nga nu’ng na-feature yung life story ko sa Maalaala Mo Kaya about a certain loved one who got involve on that (drugs) and he’s able to turn his life around. I’m saddened by the story pero yon nga, eh, I still don’t think that their lives should end that way.

“Kasi ako, meron akong loved one na he was able to turn his life around. I also have another loved one na yung life niya was shorten because of it. Ganu’n, eh, pero siyempre, we still value life,” pahayag ng vice mayor.

“Ang dami kasing tao na natatakot ngayon sa kanilang buhay and then we all know naman that once you are tagged as a drug user, sa amin, for instance, yung celebrities that values our branding so much, delikado. Kasi it’s our life, eh. It’s our livelihood that’s at stake, so naiintindihan ko din naman sila.

“Ako kasi, I don’t believe in drug test, eh. Dapat yan, if you are drug dependent, voluntarily tell us, just like those ordinary people, di ba? Please tell us if you want to change your life, ganu’n dapat.
