Acoustic duo Migz and Maya quash potential comparison to Sarah Geronimo and Piolo Pascual

Among thesongs they remade was Yeng Constantino’s composition “Paano Ba Ang Magmahal”which was first sang by Liezel Garcia and Erik Santos in 2012However,the song gained a new kind of following after Piolo Pascual and Sarah Geronimoperformed it in their 2015 movie TheBreakup Playlist.Interestingly,Maya or Angeli Flores, was a batchmate of the Popstar Princess while they werestill competing at the singing show Starfor a Night.To thisMaya said, “Co-compare? Hindi naman siguro kasi sobrang magkaibang versionnaman. Walang ganon.”Infact, Maya says she wants to meet the popular performer now that she canperform in the Kapamilya network.“Paranglast ko siyang nakita when I was 14 years-old. Ang tagal na,” she said. “PeroI’m very happy for her right now. Sobrang deserve niya talaga ‘yun kasi alam ko‘yung pinagdaanan niya from the start.”Priorto becoming part of a duo, Maya used to be based in Los Angeles as part of thePan-Asian girl group Blush.Meanwhile,Migz or Miguel Haleco, echoed what Maya said.“Parasa akin wala namang comparison parang ako mas gusto ko lang ang style ko,” hesaid.In theend, Migz said preferences do vary from person-to-person.“Dependenaman eh.
