Jason Dy on his award nominations: ‘I’m very very thankful po’

<img src='' alt='091416-JasonDy_PUSH.jpg' width='400' height='290' align='left' border='0'>On <a href='http://entertainment.abs-cbn.com/tv/shows/tonightwithboyabunda/main'>Tonight with Boy Abunda</a>, the winner of the second season of The Voice, Jason Dy, was bursting with happiness for having been nominated for a number of awards in both Awit Awards and Star Awards for Music.“Overwhelming po yung feeling, sobrang blessed po ako na sa kabago-bago ko pa sa industry ay nirerecognize yung product na nilalabas ko po and people are acknowledging the material that I put out so I’m very, very thankful po and very, very overwhelmed with all of this. Hindi ako makapaniwala – it’s still a dream na parang sunod-sunod yung blessings.”Host Boy Abunda commented on his physique and the abs of the singer which was put on display in his recent photos. Jason said, “I really try to work out and focus on my health and my diet.”He added, “it started with health po muna. When I look at myself on TV, I feel na medyo malaki ako tingnan sa TV, Tito Boy. Parang natatabaan ako sa sarili ko and I also felt lethargic. I wasn’t as active as I want to be. Naging product na rin sa pagpupursigi ko sa health.”Jason’s exercise regime consists of him going to the gym often. “I try [to go to the gym] four to five times a week and then one to two hours sa gym,” he said.On whether or not he is currently in a relationship, Jason shared, “no, not right now. Well my focus naman really is sa career muna and music and my art pero kung may dumating naman hindi ko naman ishu-shut off na, ‘no! Huwag muna ngayon.’”
