Seasoned actresses Dimples Romana and Sylvia Sanchez did not mask their admiration for the youngest cast member of their show Joshua Garcia.
Joshua plays the role of Zosimo, the son of Dimples’s character Amanda and the grandson of Sylvia’s character Gloria, in the new Kapamilya Gold soap, The Greatest Love.
“Alam mo nakita ko, kasi ako ang lagi niyang ka-eksena, natural ang bata,” described Sylvia in an interview during their recently concluded press conference.
Sylvia shared that she would often tell Joshua to just put his heart into their craft and to continue studying.
Kasi kung tatamad-tatamad ka walang mangyayari,’” she said.
But according to Sylvia, since Joshua was the youngest and least experienced cast member, she makes it a point to reach out to him because he’s still a little shy.
Dimples, meanwhile, lauded Joshua’s humility on the set.
“So young yet he introduces himself to everybody.
Aside from being respectful on the set, Dimples reiterates that Joshua actually reminds her of a popular actor.
“He reminds me of a younger version of John Lloyd (Cruz) because talagang kapag tinignan mo siya talaga, every word na sabihin niya sincere,” Dimples said.
According to her, “sincerity” would have to be Joshua’s power because “You look at him and he talks to you and you believe him right away. And for an actor, that’s very important, that people believe you.”
They both ended that Joshua would certainly make a good actor when the time comes.
