Inigo Pascual wants to collaborate with father Piolo, James Reid on his first album

090116-inigo1_main.jpgAfter his first late afternoon teleserye And I Love You So which concluded early this year, young actor Inigo Pascual is now working on his first album.

Inigo who was present during the Maalala Mo Kaya’s commemorative album launch last Saturday, August 27, told PUSH.com.ph, “I’m super excited kasi music talaga ‘yung passion ko and not a lot of people know that so sana through this, I’m able to show people who I really am. Sana ma-appreciate nila ‘yung music ko dahil sinulat ko ‘yung ibang songs sa album ko so it’s really me showing this side of me na hindi alam ng tao. Sana abangan nila. Malapit na po.”

According to Inigo, while there will songs with “hugot,” he won’t stick to one genre only and will have different type of songs as well.

Saying that people will see who the real Inigo is in this album, he added, “Before anything, before I even started acting, in the States, it’s really been music. Music was my life. I mean I wouldn’t go home ‘till like 10 or 11 PM dahil I’m doing music in school. I became a fine arts ambassador. Talagang music is my passion.”

When asked if he has a collaboration with his father Piolo who is also an actor-singer, Inigo said, “Wala po, eh. Pero hopefully in the future, why not, di ba?”

When giving the list of singers who he wants to collaborate with, he said, “Siyempre my dad has to be a part of that list.” Inigo also shared that he might work with Piolo on his father’s album, “Hopefully. We’ll see what happens.”

He also revealed some of the names he wants to collaborate with and they include KZ Tandingan, Sam Concepcion, and James Reid.
