Ryan Rems says that Star Magic has changed his life in a big way.
year after he was hailed the grand winner of It’s Showtime’s
segment, The Funny One, how much has life changed for Ryan
Rems who became popular for his signature “Alright, rock and roll to the world”
after every quip?
“Sa’kin, walang nagbago. Paligid ko lang ang nagbago,” he
said, even sharing that he has a classmate whom he last saw when they were in
grade 3 who is now contacting him.
A member of Star Magic, Ryan said that the Kapamilya talent
center changed his life in a big way. “Binibigyan nila ako ng raket, gano’n.
Hindi naman ako nawawala sa eksena. ‘Pag akala niyo wala na ako, bigla akong
lalabas so okay ang Star Magic. I love Star Magic,” he said.
He also added that he thinks his acting has improved. “Kasi
kada taping, bago ako matulog, naalala ko ‘yung mga mali ko so kinabukasan,
next taping day, iniimprove ko ‘yung sarili ko.”
He said that aside from his Star Magic gigs, fans can catch
him at ComedyManila.com, a group featuring Filipino stand-up comedians where he
is a member.

Plus, he disclosed having another project coming up but refused to give
details. “Kakatapos lang ng Super D,
nag-appear ako ‘dun tapos season one ng Funny
Ka, Pare Ko, tapos ngayon may ginagawa, Langit’t
Lupa. Isa akong mekaniko ‘dun. Coming soon,” he said.
