080616-JovitBaldevino_main.jpgA few days after it made the headlines, Jovit Baldivino has finally revealed details of his partner Shara Chavez’s delivery of their first child.

Their daughter Akeya was born after 12 midnight of July 29 via normal delivery.

According to Jovit, he couldn’t be any happier now that he has a “new inspiration.” Although the public shared the couple’s joy, many weren’t able to hold back their shock over Shara’s revelation.

Kasi nung una kasi hindi niya muna pinost. Ngayon niya lang talaga pinost tsaka hindi naman kasi siya showbiz. Ngayon lang siya nag-post kasi sobrang saya niya,” shared Jovit in a recent interview.

But the singer was quick to clarify that they had no intention of hiding their child.

Hindi naman. Sobrang saya namin pareho,” he stressed adding that they have casually talked about revealing about their daughter after Shara had given birth.

Will they be tying the knot soon?

"Actually, wala pa po kaming napag-usapan sa kasal kasi focus muna kami kay baby," said Jovit who also promised to be more responsible these days.

Ngayon siguro mas lalo pa akong gaganahan magtrabaho lalo na at may baby. Ganon pa rin dapat ang katawan mo healthy rin kasi siyempre gusto ko kasama ang baby ko,” he added.

Jovit surprised the public again by revealing that he actually has a daughter who is now four years old named Zody from his former girlfriend Laurice Khaye Bermillo who is now both based in Canada. Laurice was a contestant on the talent show Star Power.

The Pilipinas Got Talent season 1 winner claimed that he never felt the need to talk about his first daughter.

Kasi ngayon lang din natanong. Kasi kapag na-interview ako wala namang nagtatanong. Ngayon natanong na so inamin ko na,” he said.

Jovit, nevertheless, reiterated that he feels relieved now that he was able to talk about Zody.

“Opo. Para akong nabunutan ng tinik. Kasi sobrang saya ko kasi ‘yun nga I have a new baby girl and okay naman kami nung mommy nung first girl. And ngayon, kasi settled na rin siya,” he explained.

Although he hasn’t seen Zody for over a year now, Jovit claimed that he is praying for his two daughters to meet each other in the future.

“If I have a chance na maka-abroad sa Canada or ‘yung first baby ko eh umuwi dito sa Pilipinas, siguro wala namang problema na mag-meet ang magkapatid kasi sa akin lang ‘yun ang gusto ng Daddy,” Jovit ended.
