Billy Crawford on his relationship with Coleen Garcia: ‘I’m actually blessed with an angel’

080616-Billy_main.jpgOn Tonight with Boy Abunda, one of the stars of the film That Thing Called Tanga Na, Billy Crawford, talked about the events that led to his recent hospitalization.

“I came from work, actually. Three or close to four days I didn’t sleep. I left the house at 3 am, went to the airport, tapos pumunta kami ng Surigao, hindi ko alam na Butuan ang dating namin. It’s going to be a 4 and a half to 5 hours travel papunta sa Surigao. Tapos pagdating namin doon, balikan. So after the show, nung really late, balik kami ng 4 hours again. [Although] I totally enjoyed myself I was feeling under the weather na that’s why my immune system completely dropped. My asthma came back, which I haven’t had asthma since I was 12.”

When Billy got back to Manila, he continued, “siguro 2 or 3 days akong hindi nakapasok sa (It’s) Showtime kasi sobrang nahirapan ako huminga. I was wheezing na. I woke up in the morning, sabi ko sige punta na ako sa Showtime. Papunta na ako sa ABS-CBN, hindi na ako makahinga. I was by myself driving so dumiretso na lang ako sa St. Lukes.”

Currently, Billy is feeling, “much much better now, thank the Lord.”

His girlfriend, Coleen Garcia, happened to be in the audience. When asked what he discovered about himself in the context of his relationship with her, Billy shared, “that I’m actually blessed with an angel.”

“I understand a lot more the things I thought I didn’t understand before – I thought I was incapable of understanding before. Yung maturity ko, I guess she made me a man. We support each other. I’m happy,” he added.

During the segment Fast Talk, he was asked, “saan mo planong magpakasal?”

The actor looked at Coleen and mused, “I thought we would do something outdoors pero we actually came from a wedding last night and it was a beautiful wedding and it was indoors.” Ultimately he said it would be, “somewhere Coleen wants to go for.”

On the subject of the craziest thing he did for love, Billy shared, that it was to “take a chopper going to Tagaytay for our [most recent] anniversary.”

Candidly, host Boy Abunda asked him, “does size matter?” The actor joked, “it should. I’m talking about hands by the way.”
