Daniel Padilla says he believes in the government's campaign against illegal substances.
With Star Magic recently releasing the results of a supervised and voluntary drug testing on 40 of its artists, it has removed doubt on celebrities who were rumored to be users like Enrique Gil, Jake Cuenca, and Diego Loyzaga whose tests all came out negative and drug-free. Although Barcelona: A Love Untold stars Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo were not able to join their fellow artists last weekend, they said they would have no problem being tested. "Yes of course kung kailangan. Kung gusto naman nila no problem naman,” Kathryn said.
DJ said he is all for celebrity drug testing. Kathryn said she will cooperate with her Star Magic family. I think okay na rin siyang way para masagot yung mga tanong natin,” she added.
With Robin Padilla’s recent appeal to the president not to reveal celebrity list of drug users, Daniel said he is supportive of his uncle’s move. "Sabi nga niya huwag muna pangalanan. I think huwag muna dahil baka may madamay naman tayo na hindi naman talaga gumagamit or nagtutulak di ba kawawa din naman? Siguro pag-isipan pa nila or siguraduhin,” he said.
