Kim Atienza admits suffering a stroke led him to many realizations

082616-kim_main.jpgDuring his guest appearance on Magandang Buhay, It’s Showtime host and triathlete Kim Atienza shared how a stroke in 2010 led him to many realizations about things to value in life.

Kuya Kim, as he is more popularly known, said that he still considers himself blessed. At ‘nung sinara ‘yung butas sa puso ko, nag-recover ako, gumaling ako, that’s when I realized, sabi ko, ‘health is wealth.’

“Ang health, ‘yan ang kayamanan ng bawat tao and everything else, dahil healthy ako, dahil buhay ako, everything else is bonus,” he added, acknowledging his family and work in ABS-CBN.

“Bonus ‘yan kasi ang pinaka-importante, buhay ako at health ako,” Kuya Kim said.

He also admitted that that there used to be a time in his life when he was feeling pressured to enter politics as he came from a family of politicians.
