Barcelona’s official trailer was released Friday evening during the “Dolce Amore” finale.
After a month of waiting, fans of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla were finally able to get a longer look of their idol’s upcoming movie after the release of Barcelona: A Love Untold’s official trailer on Friday evening.
The trailer included a number of heart-rending scenes between Kathniel’s characters Ely and Mia like a scene where the former shouted at the latter about pretending to be someone else. There was also a moment when Ely complained about Mia’s weakness about working abroad.
Another interesting scene featured Ely and Mia teasing each other about a kiss. But the trailer’s most notable scene was the moment when a crying Mia told Ely: “’Wag mo akong mahalin dahil mahal kita. Mahalin mo ako dahil mo ‘ko because that is the love I deserve.”
Earlier reports said that the film revolves about two millennials who are trying to heal their hearts.
“A young man named Ely, studying in Barcelona is finding it difficult to move on from his past. In Barcelona, he juggles his work with his studies, as he aims to get his master’s degree. ?Mia, on the other hand, is a girl who sees Spain as a fresh start. After a series of mistakes in the past, she abruptly uprooted herself from her life in Philippines to move forward and start anew. But the question is ‘how?’” the movie’s description read from the movie’s official website.
The movie directed by Olivia Lamasan starring Kathryn and Daniel is set to hit the theaters worldwide this coming September 14.
