The album features Martin’s rendition of 12 OPM classics which include Bato sa Buhangin, Saan Ka Man Naroroon, Kastilyong Buhangin, Kapantay ay Langit, Paraisong Parisukat, Maalala Mo Kaya and the Visayan song, Usahay, among others.

“This is my way of continuing my forever journey but this time, going backwards; by doing the songs that paved the way to beautiful OPM timeless classics,” he told members of the press during his concert’s press conference.

“So many singers have brought such beautiful songs to us that we should be remaking, that we should continue, we should lengthen the life of the songs that paved the way for us singers today so that’s how we chose these songs,” Martin said when asked about how these classics were chosen by him and his recording company, Polyeast Records.

His concert, who will have guests Zsa Zsa Padilla and Noel Cabangon, will be for the benefit of the Philippine Red Cross and Philippine Chinese Charitable Association.

Meanwhile, Martin said that he is very happy with his personal life. When asked about his love life, he told members of the press, “Love life is great because there is a life and there is always love. No, I’m very, very happy. I don’t know if you can see it my face, in my songs, in my answers but in my life, there’s always has to be inspiration. Without inspiration, it’s only perspiration.”
