Marian Rivera lauds her husband Dingdong Dantes for keeping the fire in their marriage alive.
A year and a half after tying the knot, Marian Rivera happily revealed that her husband Dingdong Dantes still gives her all the “kilig vibes” that she needs.
Although she keeps busy caring for their daughter Maria Letizia or simply baby Zia while Dingdong works, Marian their relationship remains happy.
“Ibibigay ko ‘yan sa asawa ko. Kasi ang asawa ko, parating nagri-request na, ‘Are you free? Kailan? Puwede ba tayong umalis? Baka naman puwede kitang i-date tomorrow, sa ganitong oras,’” said Marian in an interview during her and Baby Zia’s launch as the newest endorsers of Johnson’s Milk + Oats Bath line.
The primetime actress even described his style as “Parang nanliligaw ulit siya.”
How does she feel about her husband’s gestures?
“Parang medyo may kilig kilig pa rin naman ako kahit papaano. Parang, ‘Ay, naiisip pa rin ng asawa ko ‘yan.’ May ganun pa naman,” she shared.
To this, Marian said she couldn’t be any happier that he assures her of his affection.
“Oo, tapos minsan uuwi ako sa bahay, may flowers ako, may gift ako, may card ako,” she said.
According to Marian, Dingdong especially appreciates that she breastfeeds their daughter stressing that doing it for seven months is no joke.
“So, sabi niya, ‘Wow, you’re a super mom talaga.’ Gumaganun yung asawa ko,” she said.
Marian continued, “Nakakatuwa dahil naa-appreciate niya. Parati siyang may letter sa akin na, ‘You’re a super mom. Sana huwag ka magbago. We love you.’ May mga ganun siya sa akin.”
Marian could only say the same for her devoted husband and father. Marian said she’s at a point in her life when she can no longer ask for anything more.
“Oo, sobra talaga. Kaya nga sabi ko, blessed and thankful ako sa nangyayari sa buhay ko, na nandiyan yung asawa ko para suportahan ako,” she said.
Apart from Dingdong, Marian is also grateful for their unica hija.
“Sabi ko, ‘Wow, sana Lord more to come,’” she blurted out.
