Amid persistent rumors, Kris Aquino remained mum as to whether or not she would leave the Kapamilya network.
Reports of the Queen of All Media’s transfer to GMA began three weeks ago when she posted a photo of her meeting with Television And Production Exponents Philippines, Inc. (TAPE Inc.) CEO and APT Entertainment executive Antonio Tuviera and his son director Mike Tuviera on her Instagram account.
TAPE is most popular for producing the longest running noontime show in the country Eat Bulaga. Aside from that, they also have a talent management arm known as Triple A which handles the showbiz careers of Marian Rivera, Andrea Torres, and Maine Mendoza.
At the moment, host-talent manager Boy Abunda is handling Kris’s endorsements.
Months since started taking a break from showbiz, Kris was recently spotted at a bakeshop opening where she was asked about the issue.
However, Kris evaded addressing the question.
“Pasensiya na, huwag niyo na ako tanungin ng anything, kasi apat na gamot ang nainom ko, baka kung ano pa ang masabi ko,” she said.
“Apat na gamot ang nainom ko, hindi ko maalala ang lahat na mga nasabi ko.
“Don’t ask me about anything, baka kung ano ang masabi ko, hindi ko na maalala, hindi ko naman madi-deny,” she continued.
Kris’s contract with the Kapamilya network ended last March 2016.
But a month ago, after her return from her month-long vacation in Hawaii with her two sons, Kris posted about “meeting for her return on TV.” While she has not stipulated that it was for ABS-CBN, the former KrisTV host tagged the Kapamilya network’s headquarters on the photo’s location.
