Will Goin’ Bulilit be turned into a movie?

081616-goin_main.jpgThe Sunday children’s show, Goin’ Bulilit formally welcomed its new members in a press conference last Thursday, August 11.

The new batch included Vito Quizon and Nathan Prats, sons of former child stars Vandolph and Camille Prats respectively; Honesto child star Raikko Mateo, Chunsa Jung, Marc Pingol, Lilygem Yulores, Sophia Reola and Cessa Moncera. They will be joining the current cast of Izzy Canillo, Clarence Delgado, Mutya Urquia, Ashley Sarmiento, Bea Basa, Mitch Naco, JB Agustin, CX Navarro, Kazumi Porquez, Allyson McBride, and Josh de Guzman.

During the press con, show director Frasco Mortiz was asked about the possibility of having a Goin’ Bulilit movie in the future.

He answered, “Actually, dream ng dad (Director Bobot Mortiz) ko ‘yan before pa, way back noong first batch pa lang ‘yung na gawan ng pelikula. For some reason, hindi lang siya ma-push through.

He added, “Ang medyo ano lang ngayon kasi di ba with new DOLE (Department of Labor and Employment) ruling na talagang nirereinforce nila ‘yung four hours lang ‘yung work di ba dun sa mga bata.

Kasi for me, parang wala pang pelikula… Wala pa akong napapanood na pelikulang gano’n so interesting din siyang mapanood,” he said, adding that he is open to this possibility.
