Morissette Amon: ‘I’m happy because people are starting to accept me also’

081216-morisette_main.jpgOn Tonight with Boy Abunda, Morissette Amon who was recently hailed Female Artist of the Year at the MOR Pinoy Music awards 2016, denied that there is sapawan going on with fellow ASAP Birit Queens Jona, Angeline Quinto, and Klarisse De Guzman.

Morissette admitted that “’pag moment ko, that's when I give my all, pero kapag sabay-sabay kami dapat magbe-blend kami.”

Asked who is the best singer among her three fellow Biriteras, Morissette said they all have different styles of belting out a song. Angeline is “mapuso, while Klarisse sings “soulfully.” On the other hand, Jona sings “technical pero napakalinis.”

Morissette also admitted there was a time she was a bit hurt whenever people would tell her she’s “Sarah Geronimo wannabe.” She explained she was hurt because “iniisip ko ang image ko.” But now, “hindi na, I’m more honored e.” Besides, Morissette said, “I’m happy because people are starting to accept me also.”
